1. Hours long phone conversations

2. The ability to communicate via facial expression, and fully understand what is being said

3. Getting all the necessary advice... you know, the important stuff. ("Does this shirt make me look fat? How noticeable is the zit on my face?, etc)

4. Coffee dates at any and all hours of the day

5. Words and phrases that hold a meaning only understood by each other

6. Hugs that make any day a little bit better

7. The occasional "snap back to reality" conversation, where it's pointed out that you are being a complete idiot and need to get a hold of yourself

8. Any time together is always an adventure, whether it's sitting in a car for hours screaming Broadway show tunes, or going to the grocery store just to buy cookie dough and fruit snacks

9. Trusting one another with your best attempts to make as many chins possible in a single Snapchat, and hoping they don't show up in the future

10. The unconditional love, support, and compassion that they have, and that bond that will never, ever be broken, no matter how far away each other may be

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).
