Verb. To succeed and/or look particularly good.
Example: You slayed that Spanish presentation, girl!
Squad
Noun. Larger group of friends, like a posse.
Example: The squad and I are going to a movie later, want to come?
Turnt
Adjective. To be drunk, excited and energized in an obnoxious manner; to be fun, wild and crazy.
Example: John is so turnt right now! This party is turnt!
Lit
Adjective. To be overly excited and/or drunk; To be entertaining or exciting.
Example: The end of that soccer game got me so lit! That goal was so lit!
Savage
Noun. A person who does or says things that no one else will do, not caring about the consequences.
Example: That subtweet about Amy you just sent was savage.
Shade
Noun. A form of trash talk and dissing.
Example: All that Morgan did last night was throw shade towards me.
Tea
Noun. Gossip.
Example: "Did you hear about Tyler and Anna?" "No, girl, spill that tea!"
Fleek
Adjective. On point or looking good.
Example: Damn girl, your eyebrows are on fleek today!
Fam
Noun. Group of close friends who you can always count on and trust.
Example: I've known Jeremy since Kindergarten, he's fam.
Thirsty
Adjective. To be overly eager or desperate, particularly in terms of sex and relationships.
Example: Hunter will not stop calling and texting me. He's so thirsty!
