How many cups of coffee have I had this morning? I’m not quite sure…
There have been numerous days where I have lost count of how many cups of coffee I drank…like today. It’s just so good! Once you find the style of coffee you love, you get hooked. It becomes a necessity to wake up every morning. You start to need it every day. Lorelai from "Gilmore Girls" understands it and will explain it better to you.
1.People start to tell you that you don’t need it.
They say “Get more sleep” or “Exercise." No. Just let me drink my coffee.
2. I want coffee.
Just coffee. I don’t need a cherry on top or confetti to be thrown at me when I take each sip. I don’t need you to add a fancy design that looks like a van Gogh painting. I just need my coffee ASAP so I can actually open my eyes.
3. One cup?
Not enough. Five cups? We’re getting there. Keep ‘em coming!
4. Not having enough coffee can…I mean WILL affect your attitude, as proven by Lorelai Gilmore.
Soon you start relying on it to function as a normal and sane human being. Withdrawals can make you a little snappish.
5. You need coffee in order to wake up for class or work.
No matter how early you wake up, coffee is there for you.
6. You need coffee when studying for exams or working late to prevent you from passing out.
Even if you're Netflixing until five in the morning, coffee helps you out.
7. When you love coffee as much as Lorelai, you wouldn’t mind having it hooked up to you at all times.
Help!
8. Sometimes coffee makes you a little sarcastic.
Don’t be alarmed, just go with it.
9. Coffee is what keeps you awake and functioning.
If you stop drinking it, you slowly shut down. As Lorelai says, you stop doing the standing. So don't stop drinking coffee.
10. You think it’s cute when people actually ask you if you want coffee.
Like the answer could possibly be “no." They should know by now that you’re basically Lorelai Gilmore in the flesh.
As you can see, Lorelai Gilmore is a coffee addict. But it's OK, I am too! We can all love coffee together. I truly believe she's found the secret to life--coffee and cynicism.
