10 Signs You're From Ohio

1. When you hear "O-H" it is always followed by "I-O"

2. Stores are in possessive form..."Kroger's", "Meijer's"

3. When giving directions we use time increments, not miles. "Its an hour outside of Columbus".

4. Buffalo Wild Wings is "B-dubs" but nobody seems to know why.


5. Anytime you drive somewhere you see deer- or at least a deer crossing sign.


6. You're convinced that you don't have an accent.

7. You get to experience 2 out of 4 seasons, summer and winter...sometimes in one day.

8. Construction time is a season.

9. Ohio is only spelled with arms.

10. It's "pop" not "soda".

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
