10 Signs You're From Jersey

I have been blessed with the opportunity to live in the beautiful state of New Jersey. New Jersey has provided me with a variety of wonderful experiences that I will always hold dear to my heart. In spite of the bad reputation Jersey often gets, I am proud to consider myself a Jersey Girl. This is how you know you're from New Jersey:

1. Bagels outside of the New Jersey/New York area are terrible

2. You've never pumped your own gas

3. You say "shore" instead of "beach"

4. Nothing else compares to New York/Jersey pizza

5. You love roller coasters

6. Diners are your go-to spot for cheap and convenient food anytime of the day

7. Your prom weekend was spent down the shore

8. You don't think you have an accent

9. You've been to the PNC Arts Center for a concert at least one time in your life

10. You're actually a good driver

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
