We all get in the car with people (or even just with yourself) and wonder "How the hell did this person (or myself) manage to pass their driver's test?!" Here are ten signs that maybe it is time to go back to driving school and retake that test.

1. It takes you over 10 seconds to switch lanes. Just go. Seriously. Blinker, cautious look, slight diagonal merge. 7 seconds, tops.

2. You say “oops!” more than 3 times per trip.

3. You hear more horns honking at you than your own karaoke show you put on in the car.

4. If you don’t turn on red when there’s a blatant lack of “No turn on red signs”

5. “Oops I forgot my glasses!” maybe you don’t need your license revoked, but please think!

6. You go 10 mph below the speed limit. (speed limit is often speed MINIMUM, but that’s just me)

7. You find that the ideal time to turn on your blinker is 10 feet before you make an abrupt turn down your neighborhood street

8. You’re one of those people who thinks it’s perfectly acceptable to park a tinyyyy bit over the line of the next parking spot. No. You, sir, are a jerk.

9. You utilize your time behind the wheel to become the world’s greatest multitasker. This includes, but is not limited to, doing your makeup, texting, reading the paper (update: Trump is still rude!), and checking Instragram.

10. More than 2 of your friends fear for their lives when you offer to be the driver this time around

This article is not for the Almost Short Friends, i.e. the 5'3" and 5'4" Friends. No no, this is for the Actually Short Friends, i.e. the Barely Scraping 5'1" and shorter Short Friends.

11 Things All Call Center Workers Can Empathize With Better Than Anyone
Youtube

This semester I started my journey as a member of my University's Alumni Outreach Team. This means a lot of things, but primarily it means that I get to make phone calls to parents and alumni two nights a week to update contact information, collect things like business cards and volunteer hours, and even ask for money.
