1. Pop Warner...

Ahhh the memories of Pop Warner cheerleading and football. The Bourne Bears was where it was at in elementary school. Practices and games were the highlights of every 3rd grader in the town's week. This is where purple and white pride started and from there, there was no turning back.

2. The Best Ice Cream Shops Ever...

When you were a kid and still to this day, whenever April 1 came around, you knew all the best ice cream shops would be opening back up again. Between Betty Ann's, Somerset and Whistle Stop, you knew you were going to start your summer tradition of sugar rushes all over again. No matter how long the lines were, watching the trains go around your head at Whistle Stop was the best and Betty Ann's having the best soft serve ever just made summer desserts even better!

3. Breakfast is pretty much the best here...

Between Corner Cafe and Leo's you can't beat some of the best breakfast food around. Weekends were always the best times for some late Sunday morning pancakes and bacon...or some late Friday and Saturday night eggs and home fries at Late Night Leo's. Pretty sure those nights were where some of the best memories were made, yes at a breakfast place at 1 a.m....

4. Only the coolest preschools around...

No matter where you moved on to elementary school, you most likely went to either Sunshine Schoolhouse or Discovery Preschool. Sometimes you even forget you went to school with some of your best friends now and you look back at the class pictures and can't help but laugh at your friend's buzzcut or bangs and pig tails.

5. Cumbie's...

No matter what time of the day, you can go into either the Cumbie's in Mo Beach or BBay and you are bound to run into someone you know. Whether it's while you're checking out or even when you're pumping gas, Cumbie's is always a guaranteed place to see at least one person you know.

6. Driving around the rotary...

Like Driver's Ed wasn't scary enough already, getting thrown into the rotary during your first driving time was almost guaranteed. But, once you did it one time, you were almost already a pro and most likely yelling at all the people who didn't know how to drive around it by the end of the day.

7. All the different villages...

So, we all know being from Bourne didn't mean we were necessarily from the village of Bourne. You could be from Bournedale, Buzzards Bay, Mo Beach, Pocasset, Cataumet, Saggy Beach or of course Bourne village itself. What made things worse was trying to explain it to "out of towners". Saying your from Bourne one minute, Pocasset the next and trying to explain that "it's the same thing, but not really" just made them look at you like you had 10 heads.

8. The best "hang out" spots...

What's a better place to hang and escape reality than the canal? Whether you're on Bell Road, MMA, or in Saggy Beach, the canal is always the best spot to just sit back and watch the tide.

9. Boating and "Bassakwards"...

Boating in the summer is the best and whenever "Bassakwards" came around, it was almost always the best day of the summer. The endless amounts of boats, friends and of course live music on the water made for a long and entertaining day. But, Bourne, being the slightly chaotic town we are, the day almost always came with a few "hiccups" and made for some funny stories the next day.

10. Football...

Friday nights and Thanksgiving are Bourne's pride and joy. Football games are what make Bourne the fun and close knit community that we are. Hearing "HEY, GO CANALMEN!" is music to our ears and you know, also, beating Wareham...But win or lose, Bourne, usually, sticks together and makes for a great town to live and grow up in.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
