Some moms love to cook, others like to clean. Some moms like to sing and dance, others like to read. Some moms like to shop till they drop, others like to work nonstop. Not to brag, but my mom can do anything. She’s basically superwoman. She’s caring, thoughtful, funny, kind, helpful, hardworking, loving, and oh yeah, super darn cool. Think your mom is cool too? Here's 10 signs that will tell you if you too are lucky enough to have a cool mom:

1. Your friends LOVE her.

2. She never turns down a night out.

“Margaritas at El Azteco 7 pm, you in??”

3. She loves to hear (and tell) all the recent gossip.

“She did WHAT? Oh her mother would not approve of that.”

4. There is wisdom hidden behind all of her sarcasm.

“Noooo, the game starts at 5 am... Are you really asking that question right now?”

5. She’s the life of the party.

“Whoops, we’re the last ones here, would you look at that!”

6. She has the best style so you end up stealing her clothes.

“Did you take my black vest again??”

7. She gets way too excited about potential boyfriends.

"Wait, what’s his last name? I’m going to Facebook him.”

8. Not only is she a great listener, but she gives the best advice with no judgment.

“I'm just saying, you’ll never know the answer if you never ask the question."

9. She loves to reminisce about those crazy stories from "back in the day."

“So this one time in college…”

10. Out of everyone, she's still your best friend.

“If you need me, just text or call me!”

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
