There is a reason that many people come here to vacation — it really is heaven on Earth. Between the salty ocean, palm trees in your backyard, and a never-ending tan, who wouldn't want to live in this beautiful area? Fortunately, I had the opportunity to spend my childhood here, and because of it, I have learned all of the ins and outs of South Florida, and also the many "signs" that show that you indeed did grow up here.

6. You live 10 minutes away from the beach

7.You probably own about 15 pairs of flip-flops

8. Bathing suits are an essential part of your closet

9. When it hits under 70 degrees, girls begin to bring out their boots and scarfs

But at the end of the day, you know there is no better place that you would rather live.
