10 Signs you are Jessica Day from New Jessica Day—she is quirky, funny, and the ideal friend. She’ll always be a shoulder to cry on or someone to laugh at. If you analyze your friends and you can't find the Jessica Day of the group there is a 10/10 chance you are her. Here are 10 signs that you are Jessica Day from "New Girl."

1. You are constantly singing

Whether you are walking to class, doing the dishes, or washing your hair every activity that you do involves singing about it.

2. Dessert is the only meal you care about

Forget breakfast in your world dessert is the most important meal or the day. And anyone that does not agree deserves a brownie shoved down their throat.

3. You would do anything for your friends

Your friends are your second family and there is not a single thing you wouldn’t do for them. From sincere gestures to crazy acts if it’s for a friend, you’ll do it.

4. Constantly try to make everyone else happy

It's upsetting to see other people upset, so you go out of your way to make sure everyone is amused and happy.

5. You find whimsical accessories to be entertaining and thus find them piled in your room

Whether its socks with French fries on them or odd looking bags with some weird decals these crafty accessories call your name. Even though you dare not wear them in public you constantly buy them just to have and to look at.

6. You try to make everyone you meet to like you

It’s a natural reaction to make sure people like you and sometimes you take it over the top, but…

7. You have finally accepted the fact that not everyone you meet is going to like you

And that’s okay. You know how great you are and so do your friends and family, just because a few people don’t like you doesn’t mean the worlds going to end.

8. You are the person your friends go to for advice

While “sane” might not be the best adjective to describe you, you might be the most sane in your group of friends. This is why you are the number one person they go to for advice. Whether its advice on what movie to see or how to end things with their S/O you always know what to say and how to fix everything.

9. You are still working to find out what your perfect career might be

You know what you are good at and you’re still working you way to the perfect spot. It’s a long path, there are some good, and bad times but you know once you get to that certain position all the sacrifices will have been worth it.

10. You are the glue that holds the relationships around you together

Whether it’s your family, your roommates, or your co-workers you seem to be the most mentally reasonable person. You help others see different points of views, you are the liaison between parties, and you are the ultimate compromise negotiator. Without you, there would be a few less friendships and a few less people that tolerated their coworkers.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
