10 Signs That Coffee Is Your Best Friend

Friends are good for so many things -- a boost when you’re feeling down, sharing your greatest moments with you, taking countless Insta-worthy pics with you…and that’s why coffee is the absolute best friend you’ll ever have. It is always there for you when you need it, waiting just for you at the push of the shiny silver "brew" button on your Keurig, or through the 10-minute wait at your favorite coffee shop. Here are some signs that show that your friendship with coffee is the most important one in your life.

1. Your Instagram consists of artsy pictures of coffee, coffee shops, some more coffee, and maybe a sprinkling of random “others.”

2. Your regular coffee shop baristas know your face and greet you by name when you walk in the door.

3. The first thing you do in the morning is make your cup of coffee, and before you go to sleep at night, you find yourself looking forward to your morning cup.

4. When you are feeling sad, or happy, or anything really, you turn to coffee.

5. Your (other) best friends are those who know exactly how you take your coffee -- and the best ones can even differentiate between your orders at different cafes.

6. You’ll go out of your way -- take the long route, lose 15 minutes of sleep, possibly walk into work late -- to get yourself some coffee.

7. No matter when you finished your last cup, you’re still looking forward to the next one.

8. You talk about coffee as though you're trying to set your best friend up on a blind date with it.

9. Coffee is the ultimate hangover cure for those rare occasions that you choose alcohol over coffee.

10. You’re reading this article with a cup of coffee in hand…or thinking about when you’ll have your next cup.

Everybody gets sick once in a while, but getting sick while in college is the absolute worst. You're away from home and your mom who can take care of you and all you really want to do is just be in your own bed. Being sick in college is really tough and definitely not a fun experience. Here are the 15 stages that everyone ends up going through when they are sick at college.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).
