If you haven't watched at least one episode of Gossip Girl without pledging to keep up with it, something is wrong with you. Everyone who's watched one or two episodes have actually gone to watch it from the beginning. I, myself, have actually watched all the seasons...twice. Here are ten signs to look out for to determine whether you're as obsessed as I am.

1. You and your best friend decide who's Serena and who's Blair (Chuck and Nate, likewise).

2. You live by the rule that tights aren't pants.

3. You've visited the Met and sat on the steps pretending you're Queen B (or dreamed of it).

4. You've developed a love for headbands and always ensure the bow is on the right!

5. You dream of having a Chuck and Blair kind of love.

6. You've tried to persuade everyone in your life to watch Gossip Girl (including the men).

7. You've made an attempt to change out your wardrobe for a Serena or Blair style but realized that you're broke.

8. You've Googled the Empire, Lily's penthouse, and made an attempt to find Rufus's loft in Brooklyn.

9. You've found out Taylor Momsen's music, style and life and realized you liked little J better.

10. You write xoxo on every letter or card while saying Gossip Girl in your head.

For those of you who have watched "Gossip Girl" before (and maybe more than just once), you know how important of a character Blair Waldorf is. Without Blair, the show doesn’t have any substance, scheme, or drama. Although the beginning of the show started off with Blair’s best friend Serena returning from boarding school, there just simply is no plot without Blair. With that being said, Blair’s presence in the show in much more complex than that. Her independent and go-getter ways have set an example for "Gossip Girl" fans since the show started and has not ended even years after the show ended. Blair never needed another person to define who she was and she certainly didn’t need a man to do that for her. When she envisioned a goal, she sought after it, and took it. This is why Blair’s demeanor encompasses strong women like her.
