10 Signs You Are A Millennial Grandma
Living Curto

1. You own multiple Grandma Sweaters

Big, oversize, somewhat tacky, knitted sweaters that look like something your grandmother would wear. You are probably a millennial grandma if your favorite comfy, lounge-around-the-house outfit is a pair of leggings, fuzzy socks, and a grandma sweater

2. You ALWAYS have a blanket

You are probably a millennial grandma if you always have a blanket on, even if you aren’t necessarily cold. You might have a hoard of blankets in your home. When you go stay the night at someone else’s house, you might always bring your own blanket just in case the home owner doesn’t have enough available for you.

3. New technology is hard for you

You are probably a millennial grandma if you have a hard time working the DVD player or installing your new printer. You might get excited about new technology, but figuring out how to use it is the hard part. Luckily you can simply explain to tech-savvy people that you are a millennial grandma, and they should be able to help you out.

4. You often fall behind on social media trends

If you are just now thinking Ju-Ju on that Beat is a cool dance, you might be a millennial grandma. You might have Urban Dictionary installed on your phone to help you decode the hip-young lingo your millennial peers are saying.

You might be a millennial grandma if someone had to explain to you why people kept posting about “L’s” on Twitter. (A.k.a. me)

5. You have a candy jar in your room

Every grandma I ever met had a plate or jar of candy easily accessible in her home. If you have enough self-control to dump candy out of a bag, put it into a jar in your room, and possibly even share your candy, you might be a millennial grandma.

6. You are kind of senile

If you constantly find yourself losing things that are right in front of your face, you might be a millennial grandma.

7. You get excited for old fashioned desserts

If desserts with Jello and pretzels are kind of your favorite, you might be a millennial grandma.

8. You like to wear big jewelry

If big statement pieces are your favorite, you might be a millennial grandma. Large earrings and chunky necklaces are making a fashion comeback.

9. You love reminiscing on the good old days

If you are a sentimental person who loves to collect souvenirs from small life events such as movie tickets, birthday cards, etc., you might be a millennial grandma. Maybe you find yourself to be the storyteller of the group of your friends, “Remember that time we …”

10. You are kind of looking forward to retirement

Of course you love being young and healthy with your whole life ahead of you, but sometimes you look forward to being a grandma with a sweet, old husband who flies to Florida every winter to escape the cold weather. If you are maybe, just kind of looking forward to retirement, you are probably a millennial grandma.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
