Have you ever met a guy who seems to set himself apart from all the others? Yet, you can't put your finger on why he's such a great guy. All you know is that you're a moth attracted to his flame. You're constantly craving to be around him and his energy. Some say he's a total keeper, but how do you know?

Here are 10 signs that he's a total keeper:

1. He makes you laugh.

Being total goofballs with each other is so important. You need to be able to bask in each other's sarcastic comments. If he can make you laugh effortlessly, you know you have something good.

2. He does small gestures for you.

Did he walk you to your car to say goodbye? Did he ask you to text him that you got home safely? If so, you know those small gestures make a big difference to you. You could have your shoe untied and might be too lazy to bend down and tie it at that second. Meanwhile, he instantly drops to his knee to tie it for you without you even asking. Such a small gesture, but so incredibly appreciated.

3. He wants to prove you wrong.

You may have a record of having bad experiences with guys. He, on the other hand, wants to remind you that you deserve so much more and he's going to show you that you do.

4. He's NOT allergic to commitment.

He's not here to play games with you and pull at your heartstrings. No, he wants to be with you and he has no problem voicing that to you.

5. He's comfortable with you.

Whether it be falling asleep or singing in the car with you, he does it all with ease. He may even be in the middle of a serious conversation with you and a burp suddenly immerses out of nowhere. Okay, he may be mortified that he burped in front of you. Yet, you burst into a fit of laughter for how comfortable it all feels.

6. He's a gentleman.

For all intensive purposes, he exudes every quality of man. He dresses like a sleek, suave, and dapper man. Yes, you use these adjectives to describe him. He also acts like a gentleman and opens doors for you and wants to meet your parents.

7. He makes an effort.

He may be afraid of letting his guard down, but with you, he's willing to give it a try. If he is willing to try, KEEP him!

8. He makes you want to be a better person.

His selfless personality makes you evaluate yourself and strive to be as amazing as him. He's so generous and loyal that all you can do is be in awe of him.

9. He challenges you.

You can have a deep, thought-provoking conversation with him. He challenges you to keep an open mind and see different perspectives of every situation.

10. He's proud of you.

Any chance he gets, he'll tell you how happy he is with you. That you are a driven individual who is constantly craving progress. He makes you feel so incredibly happy to be standing next to him. Let's be real, you adore each other.

If you see your guy doing these things for you, then you know you have something special with him. Yes, he's a total keeper.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."
