5. When Facetiming with your parents, you ask them to put your pet on the phone

6. You're more excited to see your pet more than anyone else when you come home for breaks

7. When you see people in the street with their pets, it makes you miss yours even more

8. You have a million nicknames for them that no one will ever understand

9. They have the ability to change your mood an instant when you're having a bad day

10. You love them more than you will ever love another human
