Ah, the smell of fall is in the air. Pumpkin spice coffee is in your hand, all cozy in your blanket burrito with you laptop lying on your stomach. The heat of the laptop warming you up as you search endlessly through you favorite feeds on all your social media platforms.

However, you longingly stare at your turned off television. The despair is real in your heart as you recall watching your favorite series to the final season's end as they tantalize you with a brand new season, the previews bringing in new curiosity, and seeing the characters in a new environment, even new characters being greeted into the series makes you want nothing more than to close that laptop. Your friend's update about her drinking the same pumpkin spice coffee can wait, but sadly, so do you, for the release of the new season to air on television.

I know how you feel. Trust me, being a Supernatural fan, TWD fan, AND an AHS fan, I so know how much the show hole sucks.

However...have I got some news for you!

Our favorite shows are not that far away! YAY! -cue dance party-

Okay, okay, okay. Here are your top 10 shows that you may have been dying to see!

1. American Horror Story (FX)

I am sure that I am not the only fan here baffled at what FX is doing to us all with this strange message. In the past, they've let us know what to expect for the series, but now we're all confused! I don't know what to expect, but I love it. It wouldn't be true American Horror Story if we knew what the hell was going on. The season returns Wednesday, September 14 at 10 p.m.. Be ready to be scared.

2. Scream Queens (Fox)

AHHHHHHH! Ahem. Sorry, I'll stop screaming now. I mean, I can't ever compare to the screams of Chanel Oberlin and her lackeys! I am so excited to see what this season has in store for these prissy college girls. So far, I am a bit saddened at the fact that my favorite character, Grace Gardner played by the lovely Skyler Samuels, won't be doing the second season, but I am glad that it's been renewed! I am dying to see what they're going to be doing in this hospital setting with new characters played by Taylor Lautner and John Stamos. The season returns Tuesday, September 20. Oh. My. Gauze.

3. The Voice (NBC)

Oh yeah! Time to warm up those vocal muscles, because you'll be singing along with new contestants when The Voice comes back onto your television screen. I am personally excited, as someone who is both musically inclined and musically interested, to see who has The Voice. I had some favorites come and go, but it's time to move on. The Voice airs Monday, September 19 at 7 p.m..

4. The Big Bang Theory (CBS)

Sadly, I don't have much to say about this one, as I never fully watched any of the episodes, but I will say that my family and friends who do watch the series are in love with it. I know there are fellow fans out there that want to know what happened between Sheldon's mother and Leonard's father (see, I'm not a total airheaded ninnymuggin), so I do know that season 10 airs on Monday, September 19!

5. Blindspot (NBC)

This series has been renewed, and I am so stoked to see what happens. There are so many tattoos on that woman's body, and I have so much to catch up on that I need to binge watch the episodes before it airs on Wednesday, September 14 at 9 p.m.!

6. Brooklyn Nine-Nine (Fox)

Yet another series I have yet to watch! This series is on its fourth season, and it airs on Tuesday, September 20!

7. The Chicago Series (Fire, Med, P.D. on NBC)

Eeeep! I am so excited for these television series to come back! If you watch any of these shows, you know that they're all interconnected with each other as the emergency services are in real life. I love the rawness of every episode, and I can't wait for it to come back! Chicago P.D. comes back September 21 at 10 p.m., with Chicago Med following on September 22 at 9 p.m., and Chicago Fire returning October 11 at 10 p.m..

8. Empire (Fox)

This series returns September 21 on Fox. I don't know much about this one either, but my friends are in love, and I'm sure I will be as well...as soon as I start watching it.

9. Supernatural (CW)

YES! PLEASE! COME SOONER! I cannot wait, with Mary back into the action, I'm sure season 12 will be a hit. I cannot wait, I'm dancing in my chair thinking about it! Season 12 airs on Thursday, October 13 at 8 p.m.!

10. The Walking Dead (AMC)

There was no way I was going to leave this out of the list. I have been anticipating this series's return forever. I have been watching and re-watching seasons 1 through 6 over and over again, and I can't wait to watch the first episode with my sister. It's going to be so awesome! I can't wait to see who Neegan was going to kill, I want to have my tissues ready. I swear, if its Glenn, I'm boycotting....until I can't take the suspense anymore!

And there you have it, ladies and gentlemen, the top ten shows I'm sure you're on the edge of your seat for. Have that remote ready, be sure the popcorn and drinks ready, and the channel set! Happy watching!

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
