Out of nowhere, the remote for our living room TV went missing. It has been missing for 24 hours and is still nowhere in sight. The channel that has been stuck on the TV this whole time has been the Disney Channel.

After watching an hour of Andi Mack, I wished the TV was stuck on any other channel. What has happened to shows on the Disney channel? I watched Andi Mack for one straight hour and had to get a 5 year old to identify and explain the connections between the characters. Fast forward to later that same night when my parents and I sit down for dinner, Andi Mack is playing once again. After an additional 30 minute episode, I found myself still very confused by the show. I spent an additional 15 minutes googling the story line of the show. I still don't get it.

After my whole dilemma with Andi Mack, I began thinking about the shows that I watched on the Disney channel. The shows I used to watch were no where near as complicating as the shows currently on Disney. Here are 10 shows Disney should just play on repeat:

1. Lizzie McGuire

2. That's So Raven

3. Even Steven's

4. Hannah Montana

5. The Proud Family

6. Suite Life of Zack and Cody

7. Wizards of Waverly Place

8. Kim Possible

9. Phineas and Ferb

10. Phil of the Future

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
