One of the things that makes me the most excited for Halloween are tv shows and movies that give off a Halloween vibe. So here's my list of tv series to binge the week leading up to the 31st.

1. Scream Queens

Giphy

Perfect for fans of movies like Heathers. Scream Queens is a satirical show about a group of sorority girls being hunted by someone in their college's mascot. It's perfect for anyone wanting a dash of comedy with their murder.

Available on: Hulu

2. Charmed

Giphy

For those that grew up loving movies like Halloweentown and Twitches I recommend Charmed. It's a great show about a trio of witch sisters known as the Charmed Ones. Each episode shows them using their powers to vanquish demons and other evil beings alike.

Available on: Netflix

3. Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Giphy

Another classic from the same era of tv as Charmed, Buffy the Vampire Slayer remains relevant to this day. Buffy is a college student that comes from a long line of female slayers.

Available on: Hulu

4. MTV Scream

Giphy

A show with it's roots in a popular horror franchise, MTV Scream features all the elements of the original movies but with an entirely new story. Just like in the movies, the show plays off of tropes common in the horror genre. I would recommend this show for anyone that's a fan of the franchise and other horror franchises like it.

Available on: Netflix

5. Pretty Little Liars

Giphy

For me, Pretty Little Liars is a must watch during October. The show follows the lives of four best friends that come back together after the leader of their group's dead body is discovered on the one year anniversary of her disappearance. During the show's run the Halloween episodes were seen as iconic.

Available on: Netflix

6. Supernatural

Giphy

After witnessing his girlfriend get murdered by a demon in the same way his mom was, Sam Winchester goes out hunting for demons with his brother, Dean. Supernatural remains one of the perfect shows to watch during this Halloween season.

Available On: Netflix

7. Sabrina: The Teenage Witch

Giphy

The characters from Sabrina the Teenage Witch have graced our screens in various mediums. With two animated series, a sitcom, a movie, and a Netflix show coming out, characters like Salem the Cat, Aunt Hilda, and Aunt Zelda continue to remain apart of pop culture.

Available on: Hulu

8. The Haunting of Hill House

Giphy

For true horror fans, I recommend the Haunting of Hill House. It's best not knowing anything about the show before watching it. Take in every single detail of what unfolds on screen because it will be relevant later on in the series. From the writing to the actors, this TV show is a truly well-done show.

Available on: Netflix

9. American Horror Story

Giphy

One of the more popular shows on this list, American Horror Story continues to captivate audiences. Each season brings a new storyline to people all over the world. Currently, its much-anticipated crossover of Murder House and Coven is running on FOX.

Available on: Netflix & Hulu

10. The Twilight Zone

Giphy

The Twilight Zone set the precedent for all shows that came after it. Each episode contains a new creepy storyline that mixes together genres such as horror, science fiction, and drama. It is the true definition of a classic and it is one everyone should watch at one point in their life.

Available On: Netflix
