As school picks back up into its normal groove of overwhelming amounts of homework and multiple club activities, life can get pretty hectic. The older I get, the more difficult it is to maintain a social life, school life and spiritual life all together. It's during these times I find myself sometimes losing who I am, making me feel all sorts of emotions because I feel as if I have gone off the track God has planned for me. With that being said, here are some scriptures to help you realize what God really thinks of you.
God thinks:
1. You are Beautiful.
“And the king will desire your beauty. Since he is your Lord, bow to him.” – Psalm 45:11
2. You are Loved.
“The Lord appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love, therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you." – Jeremiah 31:3
3. You are Precious.
“Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.” - 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
4. You are Strong.
“Awesome is God from his sanctuary; the God of Israel—he is the one who gives power and strength to his people.” – Psalm 68:35
5. You are a New Creation.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” - 2 Corinthians 5:17
6. You are Protected.
“He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber.” – Psalm 121:3
7. You are Empowered.
“I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13
8. You are Chosen.
“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give to you.” – John 15:16
9. You are Family.
“So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.” – Ephesians 2:19
10. You are Mine.
“But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.” – Isaiah 43:1
