res·o·lu·tion
noun
- a firm decision to do or not to do something
- the action of solving a problem, dispute, or contentious matter
I have always thought resolutions seems rather dumb. Just because it's a new year you have to figure out things you want to change about yourself. You don't have to decide to go to the gym and then quit well into January just because it's the new year. You shouldn't make silly goals because everyone else does by the time the clock strikes midnight. So I've made a list of things I aspire to do all year long and even in the years to come. Here's 10 resolutions I'll always have.
1. Grow Stronger
Not just physically but also mentally. My health is important.
2. Grow Smarter
Education comes first.
3. Grow Kinder
Nothing is better than a genuine smile or compliment.
4. Grow Closer to God
Self explanatory.
5. Do The Things I Want/ What I love
Travel, try new things, experience more, take more pictures, ect.
6. Surround Myself With Great People
Friends and family who love, care, and encourage me.
7. Keep The Toxic People Out
People not worth my time.
8. Have More Gratitude
In turn make my attitude better and my heart more gracious.
9. Work Hard
Colossians 3:17
10. Love Myself & Who I am
I am too often hard on myself and my own worst critic.
