Sometimes I wonder how you put up with me, but then I remember that I put up with you, so we're even.

1. She's someone you can tell anything to, no matter how weird or crazy.
We all have weird little things that we don't really want anyone else to know, but when it comes to your sister you tell her everything even if she doesn't really wanna know.

2. She will sit and listen to you go on, and on, and on, about the boy you're currently obsessed with.
Your sister knows and remembers every flavor of the week, and greatly enjoys bringing up and laughing over your past obsessions when you finally realize how dumb you were back then.

3. She's always there to beat up or verbally harass any boys or friends that do you wrong.
Whether they broke your heart or just looked at you funny, your sister's always got your back and is always willing to defend you.

4. Even if you're in a fight she still has your back
It doesn't matter if you're in the middle of a screaming match, if something else happens to you all that anger gets redirected to whoever hurt you.

5. You always have someone who will straight up tell you that you look like shit if you do.
We all have those friends who say you look good when you know you don't, not gonna happen if you ask your sister, she'll look you up and down and ask what the hell are you wearing

6. She knows all your secrets, embarrassing moments, and awkward sixth grade hairstyles and loves you anyways.
We all went through those awkward phases no one really wants to talk about, and those pictures that don't wanna show anyone. Luckily for us, our sister lived through them with us and most likely were laughing their asses off behind the camera

7. She'll always listen to you when you need to vent and she know's you'll do the same.
It doesn't matter if your venting about the stupidest thing in the world, she'll always listen.

8. She knows your stalker moments and likes to make fun of you for it.
She knows about that time you went through twitter, Facebook, Instagram, found his snapchat, and every other detail about his life when you thought you were in love with him, and she won't let you forget it.

9. She will always forgive you
No matter how many, stolen clothing, you're annoying, shut up fights you have, at the end of the day she'll always begrudgingly ask you something or make some dumb comment and just like that you're laughing again and you know you're forgiven

10. Because I have a sister I will always have a friend
She is my biggest supporter and my very best friend, it doesn't matter how far apart we are or what happens I know I can always count on her and that she'll always have my back.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
