Let's be honest here, we have all had that moment when we lay down in our beds after the end of a long day or a long week and we come to the conclusion that it is in fact our best friend. Now, if you're someone like me, you come to that conclusion every time you get into bed. You may even tell people how much you love your bed. And then they probably just laugh like you're joking. So for those times.. here are ten valid reasons your bed can truly be your best friend.

1. It never cancels your plans.

2. It doesn't judge you, no matter what mistakes it knows you've made or how many naps you take on the daily.

3. It's always available for a good cuddle when you need one.

4. It doesn't mind how you look when you're too lazy for makeup. It actually likes you better that way.. no makeup on your pillowcases.

5. It's always there for you at the end of a bad day.

6. No matter what the two of you do together, it will always be enjoyable.

7. It comforts you when you're sad, sick, or feeling lazy.

8. It never fails to keep you warm, inside and out.

9. It doesn't hold grudges if you "switch sides."

10. It's always down to "Netflix and chill"....sometimes you may even invite a friend. Maybe.

Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:
