10 Reasons Why Your Little is Your Best Friend
Taylor Newton

When I first joined my sorority my sophomore year, I got the most wonderful big I could ever ask for. I didn't think I could ever measure up to her. I was scared to be a big. What if I'm awful? What if my little hates me? But from the moment I met my future little I knew she had to be mine. Right after I met her, I knew I had to be her big. There was no way I could not. I knew right then we were meant for each other. The day I finally got to formally announce that she was mine was hands down the best day of my life. That day, I didn't only find my little. I found my partner in crime, my future bridesmaid and my best friend.

1. She's always there for you.

She will always have your back no matter what you need. She's there for you to talk about anything.

2. She goes along with all of your crazy ideas.

"That sounds absolutely insane... let's do it!" It's another memory we can add to our scrapbook of insanely crazy, strange and hilarious moments.

3. She always encourages you.

She's your biggest supporter. You have a really big presentation the next day, and she gives you the most inspiring pep talk ever. You're still not prepared, but you feel 100 percent better.

4. She's always ready to have a good time.

You can call her up at any time, and she's ready to go. She's always ready to have more adventures and make more memories with her big.

5. She binge watches your favorite TV show with you.

She's right there with you when you shamelessly watch three seasons of Criminal Minds in one sitting, and there is no judgement.

6. She loves you unconditionally.

There is no doubt in your mind that she is going to love you forever no matter what. No matter how bad you're feeling about yourself, your little will always be there to love you and make you feel better. You can always count on her.

7. She's always down for a Starbucks date.

Whether it's to catch up on all the gossip, or a study date or a rant session, she's always available to get her caffeine fix in.

8. She's your mini-me.

You are seriously so similar friends and family members say you look alike!

9. You can be weird together.

You both totally accept the fact that you can sometimes just be weird. At the end of the day, you can talk about the awkward situations that occurred and laugh it off together.

10. She is absolutely perfect.

It's crazy how you've lasted so many years without the person that has made your life so complete. Your little will be your best friend for the rest of your life. No matter, what you can always count on her.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:
