10 Reasons Why You Need To Take A Cruise

I'm writing this article this week with a massive sunburn all over my body because I just got back from a cruise to the Bahamas (wear a higher degree of sunscreen folks). This was my first cruise and at first, I couldn't tell if I was going to like it or not. The first night, the waves were very rough and the boat was rocking like crazy.

Needless to say, I got pretty seasick and had to buy motion sickness medication. After that one night though the boat ride was smooth and it was like you weren't even cruising on the sea. The ship was awesome and had so many activities to do. Not to mention the insane buffet of food throughout the day and the banging sit-down dinner at night. Here are ten reasons why you need to take a cruise!

1. You can drink your alcohol out of various tropical fruits

It does get kind of pricey but hey you only spring break one time out of the year.

2. You get some amazing pillow talk with your roommate because the rooms are small

You can talk and reminisce about how that drunk man fell down two flights of stairs.

3. You have an amazing ocean view the entire time you're on the cruise

Not even Drake has seen views like these.

4. The drinks on the island taste like sunshine

"Excuse me can I have the biggest size you got and make it strong sir."

5. There's an amazing sit-down dinner every night

We ordered three appetizers, two entrees, and dessert every night ladies no regrets.

6. You can say you went to Senor Frogs

The ultimate spring break bar and hotspot for twerking contests and delicious margaritas.

7. You can explore beautiful places and resorts

That is the world famous resort Atlantis in the Bahamas!

8. The beaches are something out of a postcard

White sand and crystal clear blue water all day.

9. You can almost always catch a beautiful tan

Even if you have crazy weird tan lines after it.

10. You get to spend a week with your best friends having the time of your life

Making memories that you will tell your kids someday :)

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
