Surely you've heard the phrase "you deserve better," before. And if you haven't I'm already convinced you're an alien that has never dated a few duds. But if you have heard that phrase before, then good, I'm happy to say we're on the same page. I can't help but reflect on the many occasions when I felt stripped of respect, both for myself and of myself, not good enough, stepped on, and wonder why I let that happen. I think we can say we've all been in shitty relationships that have done bad things to our mental and emotional health, but I hope that you found the light at the end of the tunnel, and most importantly the strength and knowledge to know what you deserve. However, if you have not found that light just yet, I'm here to tell you exactly why you deserve someone just as amazing as you are- and trust me, you WILL find that person.

1. Because you have a big heart.

and when you have a big heart, you deserve someone who has just as big of a heart.

2. You deserve the respect you give to others.

3. Because happiness should be a must.

....and you ain't gonn' find that in a dud.

4. Because your positivity radiates.

...and no one should bring you down.

5. And you KNOW you have so much to offer.

don't lose who you are for a person who makes you feel less than average.

6. That amazing person could add to your greatness.

and not weight you down.

7. You need to protect you.

not someone who leaves you unprotected.

8. You deserve the truth no matter how devastating.

not lie after lie after lie.

9. The world is a scary place, you deserve someone who's in it with you 24/7.

not someone who has other first priorities.

And because all that amazing-ness you deserve, you can give right back- to someone who actually deserves it.
