Every summer, I spend a portion of my time at Rockbrook Camp for Girls in Brevard, North Carolina. Almost every time I tell a story during the school year, I find myself starting with "at camp this" or "at camp that." No matter what camp you go to, living in the woods every summer has an enormous impact on your life. My best memories are a result of the amazing experiences I've had playing in the sun with my best friends. Camp taught me some of life's most important lessons.

1. It's okay to be without your phone for a couple of weeks.

2. Appreciating and respecting nature is important.

3. Your weirdest self is your best self.

4. You're never too old to play dress up.

5. Everyone can sing, regardless of talent.

6. Receiving letters is always exciting.

7. Stepping outside of your comfort zone is healthy.

8. You can make life-long friends in short amounts of time.

9. But, leaving them is the hardest thing you'll ever do.

10. And reuniting with them is the most exciting day of your life.

11. Camp will always stick with you, no matter how old you get.

Here are just a few signs that prove your current friend group is the ultimate friend group.

Only those who have grown up with siblings knows what it feels like to fight, prank, and love a sibling. Ross and Monica Geller were definitely overbearing and overshared some things through the series of "Friends," but they captured perfectly what real siblings feel in real life. Some of their antics were funny, some were a little weird but all of them are completely relatable to brothers and sisters everywhere.

1. The Legacy.

Her sister was a member, her mom was a member, all of her aunts were members, and her grandma was a member. She has been waiting her whole life to wear these letters and cried hysterically on bid day. Although she can act entitled at times, you can bet she is one of the most enthusiastic sisters.

Every kid in college and/or high school dreams of summer the moment they walk through the door on the first day back in September. It becomes harder and harder to focus in classes and while doing assignments as the days get closer. The winter has been lagging, the days are short and dark, and no one is quite themselves due to lack of energy and sunlight. Let's face it: life is ten times better in the summertime.
