10 Reasons Why The Ladies Love Drake

If you’re reading this now, you know it’s true. The self-proclaimed ‘6-God’ has that 'it factor' which has turned him into an international heartthrob. I mean, let’s just be real here and agree that you can’t have an Instagram name like champagnepapi and not have some sort of game. He’s got the juice like that.

1. For starters, just look at him.

That is not a man momma would be disappointed in if you brought him home on Thanksgiving. She might drop the turkey when he walks in the door, but who wouldn’t?

2. He accepts you for who you really are.

“Sweatpants, hair tied, chillin’ with no makeup on, that’s when you’re the prettiest, I hope that you don’t take it wrong.”

Ladies, we all know we’re dreaming of a guy who will love the 2007 Brittney Spears you and the Beyoncé you equally.

3. He respects women.

Even Grandma knows that Drake is a gentleman. Only he would go to a strip club and make it rain tears of emotional baggage rather than dollar bills or ask a stripper if she’d rather get coffee and talk for a while instead of stripping. He respects women, okay. Respect.

4. He loves his momma.

There is nothing that can really say more about the quality of your character than the way you treat your mother. The one who gave you life and provided for you, in her case, by herself. Drake is clearly thankful for that, most recently documented in “You & The 6,” a tribute to his mom and Toronto.

5. He's dedicated and committed (unfortunately just not to you).

He may be more committed to the music and Toronto and... other girls right now, but he’ll come around.

6. He’ll always keep it eight more than 92 with you (100).

You right.

7. He’s romantic.

If “Just Hold On We’re Going Home” doesn’t get you doing an obnoxious head-jig, you’re wrong. He’s so smooth with his words and gestures. Watching him perform, or do anything really, is mesmerizing. His lyrics sometime reveal a deeper side to the singer/rapper, giving him an edge. And we all know it’s been scientifically proven that girls love bad boys.

8. His lyrics are relatable and emotion-filled.

I don’t know about you, but I can’t listen to “Doing It Wrong” without thinking about that one boy I held hands with accidentally when we were both reaching for the red crayon in Kindergarten. Drake has some of the most strategically curated lyrics that awaken your soul and vibrate your heartstrings. His songs are the reason people say, “I feel some type of way” and “I’m in my feelings,” because no one really knows what the heck they’re feeling when the beat drops.

9. He’s intellectual.

Mind. Blown.

10. Endless cute baby pictures.

What’s better than baby Aubrey Drake Graham? This is also a pretty solid indicator that his kids will be cute as hell. Good job, momma Graham.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
