Everyone, it's time to say goodbye to the cold and dreary days of winter and hello to the warm and sunny days of spring. Spring brings so much new life and perspective to the world. Here are ten reasons why spring is the BEST season.

1.You can enjoy the nice weather.

What they say is true- weather can have a significant impact on one’s mood. Exposure to sunlight actually raises the hormone serotonin in your brain! When it’s a beautiful day, everyone is generally much happier and far more energized.

2. You can study and do homework outside.

Homework isn’t often the first thing you want to do after a day of work or going to classes. However, because it is so beautiful outside, getting work done can turn into a far more enjoyable activity and is the perfect cure to stay motivated and positive.

3. You are surrounded by beautiful flowers.

As winter transitions into spring, you can begin to see the flowers blooming. Campus will become such a lovely place to be, and school spirt and moral will most certainly be strongly felt by all. It also doesn’t hurt that you can now take some quality Instagram pictures of nature and you and your friends outside.

4. You can go on endless adventures.

When the weather's nice out, going on an adventure, big or small, will help you feel so relaxed and content. Simply walking outside and exploring different places with your friends will be such a great bonding experience. Once more, you can enjoy a plethora of different outdoor eating and drinking places.

5. You can wear cute clothes.

In the Spring, you have so much more variety and options on what to wear. On a nice day, you can still wear light jeans or you could go with shorts or a dress. Really, anything goes, and you don’t have to be weighed down by any heavy coats or clunky boots.

6. You can darty.

Party outside during the day? Need I say more?

7. You can indulge in fresh fruits and vegetables.

Spring is the prime time for fruits and veggies to sprout and be fresh to eat. Fruit like strawberries are in season and are in abundance.

8. You can walk to class without fearing the elements.

Being able to walk outside without a big coat on is quite liberating. Once more, not having to worry about possibly getting frostbite from the cold or having the wind eat your face is a wonderful thing. Instead, a nice spring breeze and the smell of fresh cut grass will greet you.

9. You can get a natural tan.

With the sun coming out, laying outside and tanning is very feasible. Who doesn’t like a nice tan? Laying outside with friends or with a good book is just what you need sometimes.

10. You know summer is so close.

Everyone knows that after spring break, the rest of the school year will fly by before you know it. It's comforting to know that even though summer is approaching, you still have time to get in shape and get the perfect beach body. With spring, the anticipation of summer break is so real and very exciting.
