When I was born, I was blessed with two best friends for life in my triplet sisters. Most people have to find their best friends, but I was given these two amazing people without even having to look for them. Some people consider their older or younger sister as their best friend, but I am lucky enough to call two sisters who are both my age and my best friends. I consider my sisters best friends for so many reasons, but here are just a few of them.

1. Whenever we fight, we forget about it within two minutes.

Although we don't fight often, whenever we have a disagreement about something, we don't hold grudges for very long. No matter how mad we get in an argument, we instantly forget about it because we simply can't stay mad at each other.

2. I basically have three wardrobes.

I think most people would agree that the best part of having a sister is being able to steal her clothes. There's nothing better than having three different styles to choose from!

3. I know that they will always be on my side.

It is an amazing feeling to know that even though we fight sometimes, my sisters will never leave my side. If I have a conflict with someone, they always stick up for me, and I do the same for them.

4. They're the first ones I tell about good news (or any news).

My sisters are the first ones who hear about anything new that happens in my life, even while we're living at colleges miles apart.

5. They can always make me laugh.

I believe that laughter is the best form of therapy. Whenever I'm having a bad day or struggling with something, my sisters never fail to make me laugh and brighten my day.

6. I know that I can trust them with anything that I tell them.

I don't have to worry about them telling someone else my secrets because they have always proven to be trustworthy, as best friends should be.

7. We can relate with each other about almost everything.

Of course, despite the fact that we are the same age, we are different in many ways . But we do also have a lot in common, and for that reason we can always find something to relate to and never fail to find something to talk about.

8. They are always willing to tell me what no one else will.

Whenever I sing the wrong lyrics to a song or say words like "salsa" or "leggings" wrong, they always make sure I know. They always tell me the truth, even if it's something that other people are afraid to say. They know that I won't get offended because I know that they are being honest.

9. We take the best pictures together.

Since we're together so often, we always have chances to take pictures together. They're always honest with me when I don't look great in a picture, so it's easy for us to agree on the best pictures.

10. We get each other and we can sometimes read each other's minds.

Many people who learn that I'm a triplet wonder if we can read each other's minds. Sometimes we can, because we think so similarly. It isn't rare for us to finish each other's sentences or stories.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
