Being in your 20's is the prime time to live, love, and experience the craziness of renting a house or an apartment with four other people.

When you're a 20-something female, living with roommates is one of the greatest experiences you could ever have. Roommates provide everything you need in a living situation, from trials and error to parties and fun. Nothing can beat the craziness that is in store:

1. Roommates are like in-home best friends

They're just one door down. Waiting for you to tell them everything.

Literally everything.

2. Lots of women = lots of other closets to dig through

Nothing is better than running into you roommate's bedroom 10 minutes before you're supposed to leave for a date because you know they have exactly what you need to complete your outfit.

3. Outfit opinions are endless

No need to fear about whether or not you look good because your roommates will most definitely let you know whether or not you look absolutely ridiculous or absolutely lovely.

4. You'll never go without shampoo or bathroom necessities

They will be here for you when you're in the shower and out of face was or mother nature comes knocking and you don't have the proper means to answer the door.

5. Their friends automatically become your friends

This is especially awesome when they compliment your sense of style or offer you baked goods.

6. The memories are unforgettable

You'll always remember that one time that you and your girls spent way too long in Target or went out on spontaneous breakfast dates after long nights of "work".

7. Parties

When you finally get to host a party in your house with your roommates, you basically feel like you're Gatsby and your house is a beautiful, delicate, magical mansion. Nothing compares to the responsibility of 40-380 people rampaging through your living room.

8. Dating becomes a household situation

Boys need to watch out when it comes to a house full of girls. Everyone knows everything there is to know about each significant other and if one of those significant others messes up, it's game over.

9. Break-ups and bad days are never spent alone

Endless amounts of pizza, wine, and ice-cream with your roomies will make life seem like rainbows and butterflies.

10. You'll always have a shoulder to cry on

Through thick in thin, you'll always have your roommates to rely on. Spending so much time together makes you more than just friends; it makes you family.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
