1. The Reality.
The reality of coming home can be hard because you must come to terms with all of things that changed since you left. Thing's have definitely changed....like everything.
2. Not Seeing Your Friends Every. Single. Day!
You get used to seeing all of your friends every day, since they live either on your hall or within walking distance of your dorm!
3. Parents (Being Parented).
As college students, we’ve gotten used to doing what we want, when we want. We don’t have to ask to do something or go somewhere. Having our parents know everything that we are doing can seems like they’re smothering us.
4. You've changed since you left in August.
Its inevitable, you’ve changed since you left in August. Whether you’re a freshman or a senior, being around new people in a new place, you’re going to change. You mature, and you learn things about yourself in college. This is the time to try new things and explore what you like or you don’t like, and by this point in college you’ve discovered a few of these things already.
5. Home Doesn't Feel Like Home Anymore.
What is home anymore? Home is at school and home is back in your hometown. You have two homes, and it’s confusing. You miss one place while you’re at the other.
6. All The Questions.
"How's School going?" "Studying hard?" "Are you glad to be home?"
7. What is Relaxing?
No exams to study for? No homework?
8. The Awkward Encounters.
You thought you wouldn't see some of the people from high school again...and then you do.
9. Boredom
After the excitement of coming home wears off, there seems to be nothing to do!
How do I have this much stuff? I don't remember having this much stuff...
