10 Reasons Why Having a Boyfriend in College is Awesome
1. You have someone to vent to that's not in your house.

Being surrounded by the same girls every single day, you're totally bound to get a little annoyed with your sisters once in a while. That's why it's so nice to have someone that is objective and will just listen to you.

2. You will always have a Netflix partner. Sometimes, all you want to do after hard tests and quizzes is just binge on Netflix. Life is hectic, y'all. Netflix is not. It's nice having the only brain exercising activity being which show or movie you're gonna pick.  From season 1 to season 5, you've got a partner and cuddle buddy. It's the dream.

3. They will always say that you're pretty even when you look rough.
Look, I know that we all can't look like the cutest little Georgia peaches in the world on the daily. There are days where sweatpants, hair-tied, and chilling with no make-up sound like the most appealing wardrobe choice in the world. It's nice to know that not only Drake thinks that's when you're the prettiest.

4. Automatic date to your formal (his too).Last minute scrambling to get set up? Nope. You've got an automatic date. Plus you already know that you're obviously going to his formal, so that gives you more time to paint the best cooler ever.

5. You'll always have someone to go get food with. Boyfriends rock. They are always down to go get food or order delivery. This might be the most important part of having a boyfriend (just kidding). You also have someone to finish your food when you're all full.

6. You won't get caught up in the hookup culture that is very much prevalent in our generation for the wrong reasons.

So, our generation is very much into just hooking up with people. Call me old-fashioned (because I pretty much am), but I personally think that hooking up with a bunch of people for self-validation is in poor taste. This not only goes for girls, but guys too. Your self-worth is not quantified by the number of people you hook up with. I like having my boyfriend all to myself and not sharing with other girls. Sorry, not sorry.

7. You learn more about the world.
Odds are, you and your boyfriend are not from the same part of town if y'all met in college. What I know about a part of the world, my boyfriend might not and vice-versa. It could be something little like regional information to international information.

8. He supports you."He believes in me more than I believe in myself," said Jennah Hickle. Come on. Look at that quote. Look at it. Boyfriends rock. Whether it's when you're applying for that hard internship or you're freaking out about the possibility of failing a class, he's there to give you some support.

9. You can put your Pinterest to real use! If you're anything like my friends and I, Pinterest is the best thing since sliced bread. Food board? Yummy food you're gonna make him. DIY board? You bet that's going to be a part of his Christmas gift. Fashion board? You better believe that I'm going to buy that blue Vineyard Vines shirt to compliment his eyes. I get to actually craft again after withdrawals from Big/Little week.

10. You have someone that will completely accept you for you.

Lets face it, odds are that you aren't completely normal. You have your unique quirks that not everyone understands, but he does. Hey, it takes a weirdo to know one. So when you're on top of the world, or when you're a few fries short of your happy meal he's still into you.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
