Fall has always been my favorite. Living in New England gives you many reasons to love the bright and colorful season. Here are 10 of the reasons!

1. Foliage in New England

Reds, oranges, yellows, and golds. Driving around on the New England back roads is the best way to experience fall.

2. Scarf and sweater weather

Pull out the sweaters and boots from the back of your closet, it's time to get cozy! I love to wear scarves, so when fall comes around I'm more than ready to do so.

3. The crisp fall air

There are no words to describe what it's like to walk out into the fresh, crisp air of a fall morning in New England. It is refreshing and energizing.

4. Apple picking

What is fall without apple picking? Biting into a freshly picked apple is one of the most satisfying feelings there is.

5. Pumpkin carving

It doesn't matter if you make a scary face or a goofy one, there's nothing better than pulling out the guts of a pumpkin, eating the seeds, and seeing your jack-o-lantern glow.

6. Halloween

Trick-or-treat! Halloween means candy, fun costumes, and Halloween parties. But watch out for clowns!

7. Everything APPLE

Apple crisp, apple cider, cider donuts, apple pie... oh the wonderful things that you can do with an apple!

8. Football

Whether you're watching Sunday Night Football or cheering for your college team, watching football is an autumn must!

9. Corn mazes

They may take all day, but the laughs and memories created make all of the frustration worth it.

10. The sound of crunching leaves under your feet

There is nothing better. The best part of the season is walking through the leaves and hearing the crunch of fall under your feet.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
