Like other 90's and early 2000's babies, I couldn't wait to get home after school, turn on PBS kids and catch up on my favorite, educational shows. While Dragon Tales and the Berenstain Bears were fun to watch, I was mesmerized by 'Arthur' and learned valuable lessons from the adventurous aardvark and his friends. However, there was always something about Arthur's little sister, Dora Winifred aka D.W, that captivated me.
For being only 4 years old, this little superstar certainly knows what she wants, when she wants it, and how to get it. She might be tiny, but her voice and presence are mighty. I admire D.W for her sassy attitude and spunky demeanor and think it's fair to say that she's pretty much the sassiest little kid of them all. Wouldn't you say so?
1. She clearly has her priorities straight.
2. She's mature for her age and understands the immense power in knowledge.
3. She's pretty darn smart.
4. She's extraordinarily humble.
5. She thinks very highly of herself.
6. When she doesn't like something, she sells it.
7. She acknowledges the hardship and perils of being a 4-year-old.
8. She's very open with how she feels.
9. She is firm in her beliefs and wise beyond her years.
10. She may be tiny and although might not be able to read, her sassiness has no limits.
Keep doing you, D.W. You're going places, girl.
