Disney World is without a doubt the happiest place on earth. Situated in Florida, hundreds of millions of people come to the four parks (Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and The Animal Kingdom) each and every year. Kids of all ages and adults of all ages can agree that when you're in Disney World, all of your worries magically float away and you have a great time. Even the oldest of guests are transformed back into little children again. Disney World is my favorite place in the entire world, and here are some reasons why.

1. You get to see your favorite childhood characters.

There is nothing more magical than seeing your favorite princess and taking a picture with her, hugging her, and getting her autograph! Even if you're no longer a little kid, standing in line to meet your favorites is totally worth it.

2. There is a ride for everyone.

Whether you're a daredevil and venture towards rides like Tower of Terror, Space Mountain, Expedition Everest, and Rockin' Rollercoaster, or you prefer the more tame rides and enjoy It's a Small World, The Barnstormer, Toy Story Mania, and Peter Pan's Flight, there is always going to be something for you!

3. The food is great.

What's better than ice cream on a stick? Ice cream on a stick that is shaped like Mickey Mouse! Of course there is other delicious food in the parks besides just ice cream, but ice cream is definitely my favorite!

4. You can visit Africa and go on a safari without even leaving the country, or the state of Florida for that matter.

You can spend some time riding around on the Kilimanjaro Safari, in what appears to be the plains of Africa, and see some awesome animals that you wouldn't get to see elsewhere, unless you traveled to Africa.

5. The shows are phenomenal.

Disney movies are great, and the live shows at Disney World are great as well. Go be amazed during the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, go under the sea in the Voyage of the Little Mermaid, or be moved to tears in the beautiful Festival of the Lion King.

6. The fireworks.

If you can make it to the end of the day, I would definitely recommend staying to watch the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular. The fireworks are magical.

7. Where else do you get to ride a monorail?

The monorail is a signature part of the Disney World experience. You get to ride around mid-air and have a view of all of the Disney property.

8. You can travel around the world in just a day at Epcot.

Go from country to country in just a matter of minutes!

9. The Cast Members are friendly and want to make sure you have the best experience possible.

The staff at Disney World, the Cast Members, are always available to help you with anything and everything!

10. Leaving is the worst part.

As soon as you exit the Disney World gates, you've probably already started planning your next trip.

If this doesn't make you want to go to Disney World, I don't know what will!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
