10 Reasons Why Culver's Is The Best

1. Wisconsin cheese curds

Deep fried cheese curds are a crowd favorite and always a great side for burgers. This fast food restaurant takes this tasty side to a whole new level by using natural Wisconsin-made cheese, white or regular cheddar, to stuff inside these delicious deep fried balls.

2. ButterBurgers

For those of you who have tried it, you know this is not any ordinary burger. This entree has two lightly toasted buns spread with butter and stuffed with a thin but juicy Midwest-raised beef patty and any condiments or toppings you want. This mouthwatering meal has been a staple of Culver's meals since the start and keeps customers coming back to this day.

3. Amazing custard

This frosty dessert is made with Wisconsin milk and is whipped up in vanilla, chocolate or their flavor of the day. It takes the cake in the ice cream category, and is a fun treat for everyone to enjoy.

4. The flavor of the day

Made from their traditional custard base, each flavor of the day is hand crafted by each Culver's restaurant and no two are the same each day. If you do not like the flavor at one Culver's, drive to the next town to try their flavor. Each day the flavor changes. They do reuse flavor ideas, but they also take special requests.

5. Concrete mixers

Think of this as a flavor of the day you get to make yourself. Picking either vanilla, chocolate or the flavor of the day, you get to add any toppings you want and they mix them into the custard so it is like you have just created your own personalized custard flavor.

6. Culver's root beer

This restaurant has it's own signature Root Beer that is offered as a cool refreshing beverage, or it can be paired with the custard for a new spin on a traditional Root Beer float.

7. There is something for everyone

Whether you are a vegan or gluten intolerant, there is always something on the menu that you can eat. With a large selection of food and desserts to choice from, there is always something to make everyone happy.

8. Best hangover food

Studies show that when you are feeling hungover, the best cure is to get yourself a big greasy meal that can absorb that extra alcohol.

9. Originated in Wisconsin

What better place to create a fast food joint than a homey Midwest state like Wisconsin? This franchise began in 1984 when Craig and Lea Culver decided to open a ButterBurger and Frozen Custard stand in Sauk City, Wis., and they have been growing throughout the Midwest ever since.

10. Scholarship fund

Culver's VIP Foundation, standing for Culver's Very Important Partners Foundation, recognizes their own staff members' academic achievements by awarding scholarships to their team members who need them. This foundation started with a single $500 scholarship in 1993 and has gotten larger over the years.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
