10 Reasons Why Applebee's is the Best

Applebee's is everyone's friendly neighborhood bar & grill but there are a few things that make Applebee's the best chain restaurant ever. Applebee's is good for almost any occasion, there's food for everyone, and the price is perfect. Here are some additional reasons why Applebee's is great:

1. Spinach and Artichoke Dip

Everyone can agree that they've never tasted a better spinach and artichoke dip. It is a crowd pleaser that everyone at the table can enjoy.

2. Sweet Potato Fries and Dips

So, first off, everyone likes sweet potato fries because they are a nice change from the normal French fries you can get everywhere. At Applebee's, their sweet potato fries come with THREE different dips: BBQ bacon ranch, Sriracha Chile Lime, and Maple-flavored Cream Cheese Sauce. These combinations are truly genius.

3. Brew Pub Pretzels and Beer Cheese Dip

Beer and Cheese are a couple of everyone's favorite things. This item combines the two into an amazing appetizer portion of warm beer-cheese dipping sauce with soft, warm pretzel sticks. There's nothing not to like!

4. Mozzarella Sticks

If there were such a thing as mozzarella sticks in their most perfect form, it would be the mozzarella sticks from Applebee's. This is what mozzarella sticks are supposed to taste like. When mozzarella sticks were invented, the inventor pictured them to be as they are at Applebee's. True story.

5. Dessert Shooters

Have you ever finished a meal and wanted dessert but struggled with the fact that you were too full? Applebee's solves this problem with dessert shooters. They are miniature desserts that are served in shot glasses. You might not be able to eat a full-sized dessert but you can't turn down one of these.

6. You Can Make a Meal From Appetizers

Have you ever looked at the appetizer choices on a menu and been unable to choose? Applebee's has the perfect solution. Why only choose one? Choose two, three, four, or five! You can combine any appetizers you want and "Build Your Own Sampler." Do two for $9.99 or three for $13.99 and get each additional appetizer (up to five) for $3.99. Who wouldn't want to try this?

7. The 2 for $20 deal

For just $20 you can choose two entrees AND an appetizer. This makes Applebee's the perfect destination for dinner for two. How many places can you go to get half an appetizer and a full meal for just $10?

8. You can add a shot of flavor to lemonade or frozen lemonade.

Try a mango or wildberry frozen lemonade or regular lemonade flavored with pomegranate, raspberry, mango, or kiwi.

9. Decadent Shakes

You can get an oreo, chocolate, or strawberry decadent shake. These shakes are amazing, you can't choose wrong.

10. Half-Price Apps

Last but not least, go to Applebee's for half-price apps. Most Applebee's start having half-priced appetizers after 9 or 10 P.M. Basically, all appetizers are half-priced...so go with a big group of friends and get them all.

For these reasons, Applebee's stands out as one of the best chain restaurants in the world. If it weren't for Applebee's, the world would never know what mozzarella sticks are supposed to taste like and where to go for half-prized appetizers.

Throughout school, the theater department has always been my go-to place with go-to people when I need advice, a dance party, or just someone to listen to me vent.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.
