As a die-hard Bollywood fanatic, I sometimes wonder to myself what it is about Dharma films that hit you right in the feels. Kapoor and Sons, true to its creed, does just that; it is a bundle of laughs tied into a broader social commentary with the just the right amount of tears. Here are 10 reasons why this is an absolute must-watch:

1. Alia's outfits will give you summer wardrobe goals

They're colourful, cute and look oh-so comfortable.

2. Fawad's "Tangerine" shoes

Very important plot points here so I won't go into it much. Let it be a mystery until you actually go and watch the movie. GO WATCH IT NOW!

3. The sets and visuals

True to its Dharma credentials, Kapoor and Sons is a visual delight. Shot in the quaint yet quirky southern hill station of Conoor, the bright but relaxed colour palette compliments the beautiful scenery of the shooting location. This movie is easy on the eyes and will give you the fuzzies.

4. Alia and Sidharth's chemistry

Need I say more?

5. Fawad, Sidharth, and Rishi Kapoor will give you #SquadGoals

Aren't they just adorable :')

6. The Indo-Pak bromance.

Yes, Fawad Khan is Pakistani. Yes, Sidharth Malhotra is Indian. Yes, they play brothers in the film. And yes, their relationship is super adorable.
Also, Fawad Khan and Sidharth Malhotra in the same frame repeatedly! Treat yo'self ladies and gents!

7. Boobly

If not for any other reason, you need to watch the film for Boobly.

Don't know who Boobly is? What are you waiting for? GO WATCH THE MOVIE!

8. Fawad Khan plays the guitar

Do you need an excuse to watch attractive South Asian men playing the guitar? JUST GO TO THE CINEMA NOW!

9. This movie will give you the soundtrack of your summer #Summer2k16

Yes, I know the name "Buddhu Sa Man" is kind of weird, but please give this song a chance. It is in the same league as Sooraj Dooba Hai (which was OBVIOUSLY the soundtrack of #Summer2k15!)

10. Ladies and Gentlemen, Rishi Kapoor

Chotuji has once again reminded us why the Kapoor name is what it is in the Hindi Film Industry. He effortlessly moulds himself into the role of "Lovable Old Man" but with a twist. His character, as well as his superb acting are the driving force of this movie. His presence in this film ties the various sub-plots together. I could very easily write an entire article just about his character and presence but alas, this is just a short 'listicle'.

Rishi Kapoor alone is reason enough to BOOK YOUR TICKETS NOW!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
