We all know about Donald Trump's obscene conversation with Billy Bush from 2005. We also know that the media has done everything in its hands to exploit this and use it against the Republican presidential candidate. Because of that and because everybody should be given the benefit of the doubt, I have compiled a list of reasons that justify Donald Trump's vulgarity.
1. "He's not running to be the Pope"
Thanks for the reminder, Vicki Sciolaro! I forgot that the fact that Donald Trump is just running for president obviously excuses his ignorance.
2. "No woman woke up affected by [his] words."
I guess we should be grateful for our levels of stamina then.
3. "Everybody knew [Donald Trump] had strip clubs, but still the millions of people chose him to be the nominee."
It is now my turn to remind Vicki Sciolaro that those "millions of people" also chose him before learning that he might actually be a sexual predator.
4. Trump's locker room talk is "totally irrelevant" because "I mean, it was so long ago."
Sorry. It's past the imaginary deadline.
5. "Guys in a bar talk that way when they see a pretty girl."
Oh, you mean right before they drug that "pretty girl" and take her home?
6. "That's what boys do."
This comment is not the most disappointing part—the fact that a woman said it is.
7. "One man's sexual assault is another man's flirtation."
Well, that explains everything! All this time, Donald Trump has just been flirting with us! We should all be head-over-heels for him!
8. "He apologized."
9. The allegations of sexual assault against Donald Trump are not "worth 24/7 coverage."
I totally understand Kellyanne Conway's point. I mean, is not like there are women being raped all around the world 24/7.
10. "I wish I could grab as much p—y as he has."
Don't you worry, sir! As the next president of the United States, Donald Trump might find time to enFORCE a law that makes your wish come true.
While this article can be described as sarcastic, it is not meant to be taken as a joke. It is important to note three things. First of all, these statements were said by real people. Secondly, Trump supporters can vote and will vote. Finally, those of us who cannot overlook and forgive Trump's comments as easily can and should make our vote count.
All of these statements come from various sources, including: an interview by Brooke Baldwin at CNN, a pannel hosted by Don Lemon at CNN, a pannel hosted by Christi Paul at CNN, and various interviews by Jordan Klepper.
