10. Pokemon GO is getting bigger and better

With the new Buddy system in place, Trading on the way, and the Second Generation on the way Pokemon GO is set to have another explosive summer of exploring the great outdoors.

9. Pokemon Sun and Moon are looking amazing

Pokemon Sun and Moon has so much promise for not only the up and coming generation of Pokemon players (Harambe not included), but also promise for those who has stuck with it from the very beginning, with the extra content of battling Red & Blue already featured in their trailers for the game.

8.Pokemon Z - Moves

Speaking of Pokemon Sun and Moon, your best buddies are getting one-time only super powers, like "Pulverizing Pancake", which Snorlax is so up for.

7. Pokemon Trading Card Game

Yeah, that thing you did when you were 7, that's still around. And no, the new cards are not as cool as your shiny Charizard, but hey, you can't fix what isn't broken. Oh, and did I mention Pokemon TCG is online now too?

6.Mega-Evolutions are being Discontinued (for now) along with Gyms.

Love them or hate them, Mega Evolutions changed the face of the Pokemon Games (to something like, say, Digimon) and that's done with. Come back to us, Mega Haters. Also, some Pokemon are getting really new looks (and types) with their Alolan forms.

5. The Pokemon Generations YouTube series

Wanna know the story of Pokemon with the same kind of anime style you loved in the cartoon? Watch the story unfold on Youtube, click here.

4. Pokemon will be coming to the new Nintendo Switch

Just look at it. It's beautiful.

3.The Pokemon Bank exists

Let's be honest, it's really hard to start a new game after you've put so much time into your team, but you really want to try things differently. Do you delete your team? No, there is now a Pokemon Bank where you can deposit your beloved friends and retrieve them when you are ready. Granted, the Pokemon Bank costs money, which is sad, but still super convenient for only $5 a year.

2.The Pokemon Community is still stronger, even stronger than ever

With the smash hit that was Pokemon GO last summer millions of people are back in the game with their favorite Pokemon. There are so, so many ways to engage in the Pokemon community, even more reasons than there are listed here, but we're all here, ready for new and old trainers alike.

1. Gotta catch 'em all!

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.
