Loyola University is a private university located on the north side of Chicago. With the new school year approaching, many incoming freshmen have made the final decision to attend Loyola in the fall. Although, if any of this list doesn't sit with you quite right, you might want to reconsider becoming a Rambler.
1. You hate being surrounded by one of the most beautiful campuses in the country.
Loyola has recently gone through some serious renovations. Between the new changes and the lakefront property, it doesn't get any better.
2. You don't want to have a campus feel in one of the best cities in the country.
As soon as you step on campus, you can't even tell that you're in the city.
3. You're offended by an obscene amount of rabbits.
Need I say more?
4. You don't want to study with a lake front view.
The IC! (Insert heart eyes here.)
5. You don't want to run into the cutest, most amazing nun in the world.
We love you, Sister Jean!!!!
6. You don't want to take classes at an awesome downtown location.
If you didn't know, we also have another campus downtown. It's pretty great.
7. You hate Wrigleyville and the Cubs, being that it's a short 15-minute drive away.
8. You would rather eat McDonald's and Pizza Hut than amazing food like Bop N Grill, Nori and Pete's Pizza.
There are endless Roger's Park food options. If you hate food, this is not the place for you. We love our food.
9. You hate ALWAYS having a designated driver for nights out.
Bless you, Uber.
10. You don't want professors that care and actually know who you are.
I can't stress enough the importance of small class sizes in a big-university setting. Every one of my professors knows my name and it's amazing.
11. You don't want to go to a school that genuinely cares for social justice and equality.
Loyola works really hard to make improvements in regard to social justice, especially within our own academic community. If this isn't something that interests you, this is not the place for you.
