Personally, I've always been a fan of rainy days. They are the perfect excuse to do absolutely nothing and not feel bad about it. However, rainy days can be downright awful for some people, but those people just don't know how to spend them the right away.

1. Rainy days are made to do nothing but watch Netflix, snuggle up in bed and not feel bad about it at all.

2. The calming sound of the rain is the perfect background noise to your favorite movie.

3. If you don't have a favorite movie, rainy days are the perfect excuse to binge watch your favorite guilty pleasure T.V. show on Netflix

4. Your leggings, fuzzy blanket and favorite socks are all you need to create the perfect calming atmosphere.

5. If you happen to be traveling during a rainy day, rain provides a great opportunity to stare longingly out the window while listening to your favorite sad song and pretend that you're on some dramatic soul-searching journey.

6. Best part about these days? You don't have to make your bed because you never intend on leaving it (unless it's to make some warm soup or hot chocolate, of course)

7. Nap time can be anytime during the day and the sound of rain provides the perfect calming white noise to lull you and your pet right to sleep because let's face it, Netflix binge watching can be exhausting

8. If you're not a movie or T.V. show person, rainy days are a great chance to read some juicy new books or to re-read your favorite book

9. If you have a pet, rainy days are a great time to take thousands of pictures of them sleeping soundly on your lap and then posting them to Instagram of course

10. Lastly, rainy days are a perfect time to slow down, appreciate the little things and try not to think about all the work you have to do.

It is the time of our lives that we are beginning to enter the adult world and most of us, if not all of us, have no idea what we are doing. It's like starting a video game, but skipping the tutorial. We're all just running around aimlessly hoping we accidentally do something right that moves us along the right path. Now that graduation has just happened, or is right around the corner for some of us, it's time to start thinking about how we are going to take care of ourselves once we are on our own.

It is no secret that many American traditions have changed over time. As we grow older we change in so many ways that it only makes sense that we also change the way we celebrate special occasions. Of course when it comes to the holidays there are some family traditions that many of us still excitedly look forward to, whether it is eating your favorite dish or seeing favorite cousin. However, we all know that the holidays have overall changed a little from what they used to be.
