Ed Sheeran has taken the world in awe in just a few years. From + to divide all of his music has been nothing but jaw-dropping. Ed is literally a global heartthrob. So here is to you Ed, just a few reasons why we love ya.

1. His Accent

Honestly, who doesn't love a deep British accent?

2. His honest lyrics

The one thing that drives e towards Ed's music is how relatable his lyrics are. Ed's music truly comes from the heart as we see him open up his heart in almost every song he writes. Ed is a man of emotion and when it comes to telling it how it is he is a pro.

3. His tattoos

Whether it be a tattoo about his family, his career, or simply just ketchup Ed has them all. Each of these pieces of artwork creates Ed into the man we know and undoubtedly love.

4. His jaw-dropping talent

It is no doubt that the albums that Ed produce are amazing. However seeing him live is absolutely breathtaking. To see how hype he can get an audience with just himself, a guitar, and a loop pedal is truly one of the most incredible and heartwarming moments you'll experience. If you ever get the opportunity to see Ed live, take it. I promise you that you will not be disappointed.

5. His love for cats

Although I am more of a dog lover, it is adorable to see Ed bond with his cats, I mean it does not get much cuter than this?

6. His philanthropy

I always heard that Ed loves to give back to the community but, it never really hit my heart until he came to Charleston, SC on tour in fall 2017. During his stay in Charleston Ed donated ten thousand dollars to the Medical University of South Carolina, a hospital that has not only helped my family but the entire Charleston community. Thanks, Ed, you rock.

7. His simplistic wardrobe

Ed always keeps it down to earth with his sense of style. Jeans and t-shirt is a typical outfit to see Ed in, which makes him so much more lovable and relatable to us. I mean, he has even been seen going barefoot in public so his SO could have his shoes, how many more butterflies could he possibly give us?

8. His ginger hair

Ginger hair has never been anything for someone to be overly prideful of. However, Ed has somehow made the globe fall in love with his ginger hair. So all you red heads out there finally getting the ladies, thank your pal, Ed.

9. The inspiration he gives

From his lyrics to his interviews, Ed always keeps it very honest and real. He always seems to know exactly what to say in all circumstances to always leave you with the warm and fuzzy. His advice will never get old because it is always exactly what you need to hear. So thank you, Ed, for inspiring us all. We love you.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
