Have you ever had the opportunity to meet a woman who has no hair? If not, you're missing out. Women without hair are everywhere due to cancer, alopecia, and personal choice. They are a special kind of beautiful, and definitely worth your time. Dating someone who goes against the societal norms can be intimidating, but here is why you should go for it anyway.

1. She is uniquely beautiful.

The way women look without hair is exotic and beautiful. Its a bold look to have, but something about it is striking. Some people might judge her for it, but anyone with an open heart can see how beautiful she is.

2. She takes shorter showers than you.

If you live with her, you don't have to worry about too high of a water bill. She doesn't have hair to shampoo or condition, so that eliminates most of the time. She will impress you with how short her showers are (probably shorter than yours!). This is one of the greatest benefits.

3. She won't take up bathroom space.

Think about all the space your mom, sister, girlfriend, or whatever lady you know takes up. Now cut that in half. Take away the conditioners, shampoos, combs, brushes, hairsprays, mousses, hair dryers, hair straighteners, volume spray, and all that other hair stuff. She doesn't take up much counter space.

4. She's very open.

She gets the questions all the time. "How did you lose your hair?" "Will it ever come back?" "Why don't you wear a wig?" "Is there a cure?" Depending on how long she's been bald, she's learned to talk about herself. She is happy being who she is, and doesn't care what the general public has to say about her.

5. You know she's comfortable in her own skin.

Even though she might not always seem like it, she is comfortable in her own skin. In some cases, she's had no choice. If she chooses to be bald, then she is comfortable being who she is and likes to stand out. If she didn't chose it, then she's had no other choice but to be comfortable the way she is.

6. She's been through a lot, so she can handle anything.

She probably battled more than you can understand. Learning to live outside the social norm is a struggle and you know she's overcome it. She also likely faces stares, looks, and whispers anytime she goes in public without a wig. She knows how to deal with adversity.

7. You can have a redhead, brunette, and blonde all in one week if you want.

Without being with three different girls, he can have three in one! Most bald women own a few wigs, so having a few different colors isn't unheard of. Being able to change up their look can be exciting and fun!

8. She has desirably smooth skin.

You never have to deal with the unpleasantness of leg stubble when you date a bald girl. She probably has the smoothest skin you will ever encounter.

9. She understands that beauty isn't all physical.

Women are often defined by their hair. Long hair is a sign of femininity and beauty. When they lose their hair, its hard not to feel like they are losing their beauty as well. These women are the ones who learn quickly not to judge the physical aspects of a person, and see them for who they really are. You can be the most beautiful man, but have an ugly heart. They will notice, and you won't last long. But if you happen to be a man with a good heart, they will know right away.

10. She is insanely strong.

Being a bald girl in our society isn't easy. Its actually extremely difficult. Society has stereotypes of bald ladies including sickness, religious extremism, and lesbianism. Often, these aren't true of bald women, but people tend to shy away from them anyway. The fact she is able to rock who she is and deal with the way society feels about bald women proves she is as strong as they come.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.
