1. Dogs will show you love and affection no matter what. Whether you have been away for a few days or just yelled at them for doing something they shouldn’t have, a dog will still lick you and tackle you if you give them the chance to, and it is all out of love.

2. Dogs make you laugh. From falling over themselves or even scaring themselves but knocking something over, there actions most of the time are so simply stupid cute that you cannot help but laugh.

3. Dogs are great companions. They seem to always know when something is wrong and will rush right over to comfort you and they are always down for a cuddling sessions.

4. Dogs love car rides. No better passenger than a dog, who will always be overjoyed to hop in the car with you for a quick run to the grocery store or for just a nice cruise around town. They can find the greatest joy in the simplest things.

5. Dogs make you feel protected. From a little fly buzzing around to a neighbor at your door, a dog will let you know someone or something is there without hesitation.

6. Dogs are active. They can help you and/or families stay active from just playing with them and their toys to going on some walks here and there.

7. Dogs are always happy to see you. It could be any time of the day and a dog will still be excited to see you, even if you just left the room for a few minutes to go to the bathroom.

8. Dogs are your best friend. They will stay by your side and listen to you talk for hours and will follow you around like they are lost. They repay the love you give them tenfold.

9. Dogs are intelligent. Even if they may have dumb moments, they always seem to be able to figure out how to get out of a grate or blocked in area, and can open cabinets and doors if they really put their mind to it.

10. Dogs are just down right adorable. It doesn’t matter if it’s a two month old puppy or an older dog, they all look so cute and just make you want to run up to them and pet them.
