Why date a boy when you can have a dog?

10 Reasons That Your Dog is Better Than Any Boy...EVER

1. Your dog is more loyal than any boy

This seems a little self explanatory, but your dog is always going to be there for you no matter what, and you honestly don't have to stress over that ever.

2. Dog's can't speak English

Basically what I'm getting at is that your dog can't actually lie to you so that's a bonus.

3. Your dog can't tell if you've changed your appearance

Whether you've put on a little weight, or you've changed your hair and you want someone's opinion, you can always count on your dog's wagging tail as the seal of everlasting approval.

4. Parents love them

You never have to worry about your parents not approving of the boy you take home as long as he's got four legs, fur, and just wants some love.

5. With that being said, dogs pretty much love everyone

Worried that he and your friends wont get along? No need, dogs are great with people, they're a huge hit at parties, everyone will be totally jealous.

6. Sleepovers all the time

Duh, cuddling with the actual love of your life whenever you want and never having to worry about what you're going to look like in the morning sporting the cute look of last night's makeup.

7. Dogs aren't moody

Even when you are, because let's be honest we all are sometimes, they'll be there for you and they wont get upset with you, even if you don't really know what you're in a mood about.

8. It's cute when your dog gets jealous

Come on, when your dog freaks out when you get home because it can smell another animal on you, that's adorable.

9. Your dog won't judge you if you eat a whole gallon of ice cream in one sitting

Honestly, they'll probably just be a little jealous, and maybe fall asleep next to you while you're doing it.

10. Your dog is always excited to see you

You can always count on man's best friend to be there for you at the end of a long day, and even if you haven't seen them the entire day, all they care about is seeing you walk through that door. It's almost like it's the highlight of their day. The best part? They give you that excited jumping-around-tail-wagging greeting, which can only mean that they love you, and when your dog says they love you, you can actually believe it.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
