Let's face it. College is hard. Managing your time is hard.

Getting enough food, water, and sleep is hard. Everything is just so much harder in college. Going to all of your classes is hard enough. But getting yourself motivated to go to that one class that just isn't doing it for you is impossible.

It is not good to skip every single class but here are some circumstances where skipping is just totally acceptable.

1. You haven't eaten yet today

Being healthy comes before anything and if you need food, go get yourself some good food.

2. You are tired and need to get some sleep

Again, being healthy always comes first. It's understandable you may need an extra hour or two.

3. You previewed the material already

When professors put the slides up online it really is a blessing. If you previewed the material and understand it well, you are all set.

4. You already did all of the homework

This goes along with previewing the material, if you already did the homework then you already understand. In some classes, you are able to do the homework so far in advance.

5. You need a mental break

College is an important time to cater to what you need and learn about yourself. If you are way too stressed and feel like you may explode, that class is not very important. Always make sure you are mentally okay even if it means taking a break once in a while.

6. You have a headache

If you have a headache you are probably not going to pay attention in class anyway. There is a good chance that it will make your headache worse.

7. Your friend in that class isn't going

If you have that one buddy in class who you always sit with and they say they aren't going. Chances are if you go you will just feel lonely the whole time.

8. You are already late

Honestly, if you are already running late you are going to be that awkward kid that walks in halfway through class. Do you really wanna do that to yourself?

9. The professor doesn't take attendance

They won't know if you are there or not so if you are not feeling it, there won't be repercussions.

10. You don't feel like going

The world will go on.

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
