10 Reasons Why You Shouldn’t Move To California
Brett Eichenberger

Summer is rapidly approaching and you’re probably thinking about how nice it’d be to kick back on a beach with a cold beverage in hand. Maybe you’re a non-native Californian who is even considering taking up permanent residence on the sunny West Coast. Here are 10 reasons why you should stop packing your suitcases right now.

1. There’s no water left.

Seriously. You’d have to bring your own.

2. Our freeways are full.

5. The lines for In-N-Out are already too long.

And do you really want to become addicted to Animal Fries like the rest of us?

6. Disneyland is packed.

Mickey Mouse just wants to rest.

7. You’d be forced to join the “hella” war between NorCal and SoCal.

And you won’t be able to go to SoCal without hella people giving you hella dirty looks.

8. Seeing celebrities is such a common occurrence that we’re immune to being starstruck.

Oh, you saw James Franco at the grocery store last week? I saw Leo DiCaprio at the mall.

9. California is enormous, so depending on where you’re going and where you’re starting from, it can take up to 12 hours just to travel to another state.

Also, see reason number 2.

10. We aren’t allowed to own hedgehogs or ferrets.

And honestly, that’s just sad.

If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing!
