10 Reasons I Can Relate to Dwight Schrute from The Office

The Office is a classic of the new generation with a cast of wonderful characters that we have all fallen in love with. Jim and Pam ruined our relationship expectations, and Michael Scott made us all wish we worked for him. With Dwight, however, we felt a connection to him that was not shared with the rest of the cast. While the others give us something to attain, Dwight is who we already are.

1. Dwight and I both feel left out and jealous when our friends make plans without us.

And then after the fact, you're eating lunch with your former friends as they laugh about their new inside jokes that you missed. Inside you are crying, but you tell them, "Oh, no! It is totally fine that I wasn't invited! It's not like you guys are my only friends."

2. We both religiously carry our pepper spray.

It pays to be peppered...I mean, prepared.

3. We obviously share an immense amount of Christmas spirit.

We save the evil for the new year. After all, Christmas brings out my feelings of charity and mercy.

4. We agree that crowds are the worst.

In fact, the mobs of people at the mall have inspired me to shop exclusively on Amazon.

5. We are both very sensitive.

Keeping up a tough exterior is difficult when you're so sensitive on the inside. Even though we don't seem like it, our feelings are easily hurt.

6. We are both passionate lovers.

Just ask my boyfriend, Dwight and I are one in the same. Also, comparing your loving to nature gives you a confidence you wouldn't have otherwise.

7. We both contain a zest for life that is nearly unmatchable.

After a hard day of plotting, sometimes we just need to have a little fun. Whether or not it is at the expense of others is at our discretion.

8. Our confidence is both our greatest strength and weakness.

We believe in ourselves and that is what gets us through each day. Though, oftentimes, our confidence can get us in trouble. Like when we decide we are superior and take over the office, turning into a power hungry control freak.

9. Dwight and I just don't care.

"You're wearing too much makeup." Ask me how much I care. Please.

10. We share an over-the-top sense of humor.

FACT: Dwight and I are so funny, we are going on a comedy tour together.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
