Friends has spanned generations; from the people who watched when it began in the early 90s to the young millennials who watch it now on Netflix.Let's be honest, it nearly impossible to not know about the show. Even if you're one of the unfortunate souls who has not been blessed with the gift of Friends, you at least know of the show through the massive amount of references that are made every day in social media. Frankly, I cannot think of a better show to binge watch for the rest of my life. Ever since Netflix added the show to its repertoire, I have been watching and rewatching nonstop. Sometimes I binge watch out of boredom; other times I binge watch because of procrastination. However, 90 percent of the time, I binge watch because of Phoebe Buffay. Let's be honest here, who does not like Phoebe?!

1. She's not afraid of being herself.

Phoebe is simply goals when it comes to lessons about self-acceptance and being comfortable with yourself. She was never worried about being herself regardless of what others thought. On The One Where Phoebe Runs, Phoebe taught Rachel an excellent lesson about self-acceptance. Rachel thinks Phoebe's running style is embarrassing because of the way it looks. In the end, Rachel ends up giving the elephant run a try, and to her surprise, she feels so free and great that she no longer cares about what others think of her.

2. She's both smart and sexy.

Phoebe is often perceived as the weird gullible one, but she is a genius. She often made herself look like an idiot, but it was often to help her friends get out of sticky situations. To top it off, she did this while rocking some awesome outfits that were far more conservative than many of the outfits Rachel wore.

3. She is the creator of Smelly Cat.

Smelly cat is awesome. Enough said. This infamous tune first graced our ears in Season Two on The One With The Baby On The Bus. Whether you like it or not, you can't deny the fact that Smelly Cat is super catchy and another example of how Phoebe has some hardcore self-confidence.

4. She is honest and never sugar coats the truth.

Phoebe is never afraid of telling it like it is. She doesn't beat around the bush, and she never made plans she knew would end up being canceled. Don't we all wished our friends were as honest as her?

5. Her optimism is inspiring.

When you're feeling down, always ask yourself: what would Phoebe do? I cannot think of any other person who is capable of remaining optimistic despite all problems life brings to them. When life brings you down, don't be a Chandler Bing. Be a Pheobe Buffay.

6. Her energy is contagious.

There is no doubt that Phoebe is the life of the party. Her cheerful and eccentric attitude is one of the many things that make her such an iconic character.

7. She's never afraid of expressing her true feelings.

Unlike Rachel and Monica, Phoebe was always upfront about her feelings. She is like an open book; you know when she is happy just like you know when she is mad. Maybe if Ross and Rachel had been like her, there would have been no need for a break.

8. She has her priorities straight.

Phoebe is the best friend from the whole gang. She always put her friends first even if it meant hurting herself at the expense of her friend's happiness.

9. She knows what she wants and is never afraid of saying it.

Her honesty allows her to freely voice what she desires. From boys to computers, Phoebe is never afraid of telling others what she wants.

10. She is simply fabulous.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
